The border of Montenegro is only about 40 km away from Dubrovnik which makes this small and enchanting country one of the most popular destinations for one day excursions. In Montenegro we will drive along the main coastal road through many small fisher villages. Major attraction will be fantastic Kotor Bay – region under protection of UNESCO due to its natural and cultural value. Besides the city of Kotor which history dates back to 3rd century BC, you will also see charming little old cities as Perast, Risan, Tivat, Prcjan and Herceg Novi while driving all around the bay. You will find there plenty of Orthodox and Catholic churches and monasteries. In a village of Njegusi you will have a possibility to try homemade products and meet with local people. Afterwards we will drive further south to Budva – one of the oldest cities in whole Mediterranean region with numerous historical monuments and beautiful beach. Finally we will visit St. Stefan (Sveti Stefan) – luxurious coastal village resort with famous little islet which became most iconic image associated with Montenegro.
